How to reach us
Reaching the Hotel Guesthouse Post is really easy, and not only because the hosts are waiting for you with open arms. In fact, our hotel is located right in the heart of the idyllic pilgrimage site of Maria Trens, which at first glance may seem to be a sort of hideaway, but which is actually very close (just a few minutes by car) to the Alpine city of Vipiteno and the motorway exit. Moreover, the Guesthouse Post can be easily reached by bus or train – in fact, the Campo di Trens train station is located close to our hotel.
And there’s more: the Wipptal mountains are practically on the doorstep!

Along old postal routes
The good connection of our guesthouse to the public roads is certainly no coincidence, but is due to the Hotel Post’s eventful past as a post office. There has always been a lot of coming and going here. Our Hotel Post has always been a popular hotel near the Brennero Pass – ideal for a stop on your journey towards Italy. In the past, one of the most important postal routes between north and south passed through the Eisack Valley. This is also proven by the fact that the former counts and post masters Thurn and Taxis were awarded the Reifenstein Castle (Castel Tasso), located in the municipality of Campo di Trens, as compensation for the loss of postal rights in Tyrol.

Train
By train you’ll arrive directly at the “Campo di Trens/Freienfeld“ train station, from where you can reach the Hotel Guesthouse Post on foot.
Car
From the Brennero Motorway A22 take the exit “Vipiteno/Sterzing“ and follow the signs to Maria Trens. The motorway exit is only a few minutes by car from the Hotel Guesthouse Post.
Plane
If you would like to travel by plane, you can land at one of the airports in the surrounding area. Once landed, you can take a shuttle bus to Maria Trens.
